SEND Information, Advice and Support Service is at 'arm's length' from Worcestershire's Local Authority and we are able to give impartial and neutral advice. We support parents/carers of children with SEND, children and young people themselves and provide many services to facilitate this support.

A Learning Disability is the disorder that affects the brain's ability to receive and process information. This disorder can make it problematic for a person to learn as quickly or in the same way as someone who isn't affected by a learning disability.
Disability, according to the World Health Organization, is "...an umbrella term, covering impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. An impairment is a problem in body function or structure; an activity limitation is a difficulty encountered by an individual in executing a task or action; while a participation restriction is a problem experienced by an individual in involvement in life situations.
