West Mercia Women's Aid

In existence for over 30 years, registered charity West Mercia Women's Aid offers Domestic Abuse support services primarliy to women and children living in the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire area.

Our services offer 24 hour helplines, refuge and safe accommodation, outreach, floating support, Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) services and group programmes.

Our Domestic Violence Helplines are operated 24 hours a day by trained workers, and offer confidential advice, information and support, as well as access to refuge or emergency accommodation.

All of our services can be accessed by the helplines, and we accept self referrals and referrals from agencies.

Subject Definitions

Abuse can be physical, psychological, financial, sexual, discriminatory, neglect or institutional. If you suspect or know of an adult who is being abused or is suspected of being abused you should report it to the Councils Safeguarding Adults Team.
